2016 Friday -- New Laundry Facilities

Late last summer as we were putting the details on the remodel plans for the upstairs living quarters, I told our builders that I wanted the washer & dryer outside and not to be inside in the "utility" room and I wanted a large utility sink on the back patio so I could wash dogs.

I showed them photos of lovely outdoor patio areas that served as kitchens and explained that if someone could have an outdoor kitchen, then certainly I could have my laundry facility outdoors in order to better utilize the indoor square footage.

They thought I was crazy and really resisted the idea, until one of their wives heard the idea and agreed with me.

I really like my outdoor laundry!
