For a while at noon it was shining. The Palm House gave a much clearer feel of spring and warmth.

Life was full of uncertainties. I thought that the CNY programme was agreed by all but there was another request to change it as another money-saving idea struck my boss. OK, go for it... much delayed for publicity, though.
