Looking up

Well, looking up and along I suppose.  This old building at the bottom of the High Street now houses a branch of Thomas Cook but has featured in many old photos of Guildford from the time of Francis Frith and way back.  Perhaps I can find out the history for another blip?

In the meantime, today was the day of Mr A's father's knee replacement operation.  All seems to have gone well.

As for me, the penicillin has finished but I'm not quite back to full form yet.  Keeping my fingers crossed...
