Saundersbury

One of the highlights of the social calendar for the Saunders family...the boys Barbie!

I believe it is now into its 5th year and has grown from just a small gathering to border line garden party!

This year was no different and possibly the best we have done. The weather was truly awful but a large gazebo ensured all went smoothly, although my turf may never recover and now resembles a muddy field.

On the guest list this year were smithy and Claire, Kathy and Neil, Kate and Nige, Tom and Becks, Pete and Lisa, Russell, ash and Caroline and a shed load of children!

A few early leavers but the hardcore stayed until the early hours and we finally managed to get smithy off home at 4am.

The wife and I stayed outside for a nightcap (as if we needed that;) and felt it was time to turn in when the birds were starting to sing and the sun was coming up!

A fantastic day with some very special friends:)
