A Feast for the Eyes

B and I had a wonderful day out with friends today...a trip to London.  The first port of call was the beautiful café in the Victoria & Albert Museum.  We indulged in scones the size of saucers, plastered liberally with cream and strawberry jam and some excellent coffee.  This is one of the mirrors in the elaborately decorated café (taken on my camera phone).
Then we went to another wonderful building...The Natural History Museum to view the annual 'Wildlife Photographer of the Year' exhibition.  The variety, standard and sheer beauty of the images was  astounding...and that was just the junior section!
We all enjoyed the exhibition but B and I found it particularly interesting to look at the cameras/lenses/settings etc. that were used.
A memorable day out...and so lovely to catch up with old friends again.
