At the Estuary

The beach along the estuary at Kaiteriteri is very popular particularly when it is full tide. There is then plenty of water for folk of all ages to swim in with safety. Today was mostly cloudy but humid. This was a pleasant change from the blistering hot sun of the last few days. Margaret, Emily and I swam. Then we ate our picnic lunch. After that I stayed sitting on my beach chair and lost myself in a Robert Goddard novel. This was bliss after the activity of recent times. This image shows folk enjoying their time beside the water.
