Indecent Exposure

I told you I should have bought an umbrella

After some half-arsed planning (only consisting of knowing bus and train times to Turnov), our little group (Adit, Hava, Eva and myself) decided to go to "?eský ráj", whereas most other went to Prague Castle. We took the bus to Turnov, which is the town nearest to "?eský ráj". An hour and a half later and we're in Turnov bus station. Took us a little while to find the turist info center there as it was quite a bit away from the bus station.
Eva wasn't feeling very well, medication helped a bit but not fully. Nevertheless, she still decided to continue.

The tourist info center gave us some pointers as to where to go and which trains to take. We arrived in the train station just 5-10 minutes bfore the next train, which according to one of the locals runs every 2 hours or so! Luck was in our side I guess.

We stopped in "Hrubá Skála", which is part of the "?eský ráj", where we had to climb a bit up to get to where we can view the whole thing from above. The road was absolutely stunning; green landscapes everywhere, and soaring trees creating a beautiful atmosphere. On our way up it started raining quite heavily so we stopped by an area which had a cafe and a hotel to avoid getting wet. They sold ponchos (really bad quality ones), which we had to get to avoid getting ourselves or cameras soaked.

The road was slightly confusig as there are many ways it could go. The rain cleared later, but we did not manage to get to the very top due to running short of time. We still did some exploring around and the entire place was beautiful anyways.

We had to run down a bit to catch the last train back to Turnov, and then change for Prague.

Now just a quick shower before meeting up with everyone at the hostel and going out again!

All in al probably one of the highlights of tour. A little more planning and an earlier start may have helped exploring more of "?eský ráj", a nicer weather would have been great too! But it was definitely worth it.
