Time Travelling...

..back to 1984. This evening I had a go at copying 35mm negatives with my DSLR + macro lens. The vast majority of my 35mm photographs exist only as either 6x4 prints or 35mm slides and while the slides can be projected to a large size, many of the prints have been stuck away in a drawer or box and filed under the heading of 'disappointing' as they didn't do justice to the scene I was trying to capture. This evening, however, has been something of a revelation for me as I can now 'unlock' so much more information from the original film negs and finally see something that is much closer to the scenes I saw with my eyes all those years ago.
