The Willows

Following a massive refurbishment, The Man in the Moon public house in Marymead has now gone.  Not before time.  It was shabby and rough. In it's place is a state of the art gastro pub with a wood grill and a new look.  I don't know how many local people will be attracted to eat and drink at The Willows, but I hope it is a success for them.  There are very few neighbourhood pubs in Stevenage where you would take your wife for an evening out. They all seem to be full of scaffolders inside and chain smokers on the doorstep. Perhaps this one might be different.
