Charlotte's Makeover
This is the Charlotte Dundas Centre, a community shopping precinct in Grangemouth. These brightly coloured flowerbeds and surfacing were put in a few months ago. Nice if you squint and ignore the fact that the flowerbeds have become big puddles (they don't appear to be very well drained ...), but the pub on the left is almost derelict and most of the premises are shuttered up waiting for better times that will probably never come. Not sure if it's the best use of public money in these austere times, or if the wacky design really fits the area, but its done now and I'll get a few more angles on it for my blip as soon as the mangrove trees start growing in the colourful donuts.
