Monday: Green And Orange

I had occasion, this morning, to visit an SOS Children's Village, not far from Zagreb. The children there come from difficult, and often traumatised, home environments and are brought up in houses that aim to provide a stable environment. There are no more than five children in one house, siblings are kept together and a house mother looks after them.

I couldn't/wouldn't, for obvious reasons, take any pictures of the children and nor are their stories mine to tell, but it was such a pleasure meeting them.
