Out of Office

I hate those "Out of Office" automatic responses you can set on your email but one day in another school saw 58 emails received in my in box today. That'll teach me!
Only 8 were additions to my list of things to do and a good number were from staff letting me know they'd sorted something.

As far as "the other side" is concerned - grass may be greener in some ways but I've no desire to walk in it! Uneven playing fields and moving goalposts ...

Enough metaphor for one day.
