Snow cannon

A trip over the French border to Montgenevre - and a much more enjoyable days skiing.  I took plenty of coffee breaks, and stuck to the easy runs, but was pleased to be able to ski from the very top of the mountain all the way back to the village.

We definitely preferred Montgenevre to Sestriere - the scenery was prettier and there were plenty of easy runs. Plus better snow.
