A beautiful day with the temperature at 15C!!!
The original castle was 14th century and so it is not known how the Wolf, the natural son of Robert II , and his woman, five sons and followers crossed the loch. It is supposed there was a causeway but it may have been by boat. Prisoners were kept in the infamous Water Cell at the right hand end. They were thrown in as there was no door and the loch entered at floor level.Savage times!
