Happy Christmas

Six decades on this earth and I'd never cooked a Christmas turkey before. In earlier years we used to travel to both sets of grandparents over Christmas, staying with one set one year and the other set the next. Even later on we'd have a small turkey crown but never the full bird.

However, on 18th Jan I acquired a bird on special offer from Aldi and hey presto! here's the finished article. Susan had a Marks and Spencer Christmas hamper from one of her friends in which was a Christmas pudding. So we had that too, complete with Christmas brandy flaming on the top.
