Sweet granddog

The sun finally shone today, and I said I was going to go outside and take some photos. But... I've just not been inspired by the lack of color outdoors these days and I did not rush out. My focus today was on playing with my herding dog, and on napping (catching up with sleep). By the time I was done with napping, and the dogs had been walked, and I had interacted some with my blip friends, the nice light was gone, and so was the snow.

I've no complaints about missing out on photographing outdoors. In winter it is so wonderful to be cozy indoors, especially in the evenings. I am blessed to be surrounded by such a family of love (I include people and pets in that). My granddog is a sweetie; she's the dog that started it all, the reason my family now has 3 large dogs. I still love her SO much. I'm assuming the feeling is mutual - she likes to follow me around and to sleep no more than a few feet from me :)
