And we're done!

I awoke this morning to the brightest of blue skies and sparkling scenery. It was almost worth the three additional hours spent shoveling around our house, while hubby went to tend to the two others we have. Everyone was out, busy digging trenches from their houses to the road and trying to uncover their cars. But there was a definite energy to the day after being cooped up for 48 hrs: the sledding hill in my hood was busy (see extra) :) 

DC being what it is, we'll be dealing with the aftermath of the storm for a few more days: the streets are a mess once you leave the main roads; the Feds are closed tomorrow and schools through Wedn.
