Not so happy...

It's been tough on Dakota on me moving to this colder climate. Dakota slipped and fell on ice and broke her arm. She had to have surgery and pins put in.

I have had two awful falls while slipping on ice in the past month. The first time I fell, I banged my head hard, saw stars and heard the ringing of bells. The headaches are just now subsiding several weeks later when today, I slipped and fell again, hitting my head and hurting my back. I feel like such an IDIOT! 

I bought YakTrax -- those grippers to put on ones shoes -- but I hadn't put them on this morning because the last few days were so mild.

I grew up in California and just moved to this icy climate six months ago. So, in my defense, I am just not acclimated to living in this climate. I'm feeling lucky to be alive. Dakota and I both are going to become spokespeople for YakTrax.
