Today is Dig Out DC Day, as Washington, New York and the rest of the snow-smothered north eastern US states struggle to get back to some kind of preparedness for the working week. The once-in-a-generation snowstorm has dominated the headlines, and the wet backlash of storm Jonah may be heading for UK this coming week.

It has been a mild day here though, and one of routine and domesticity. So, what to blip? That little scamp Teddy and his new best mate.
