From dereliction to new beginnings

This plot of land near us has been derelict for years.

I'm not sure when it stopped being a school, but it has been derelict for around 10 years.

The land was sold by the council for £1 a number of years ago, on the basis of the houses to be built were to be affordable; and part built by the eventual owners.

Anyway, the above link will show you what the finished scheme looks like, and I have to say looking at the current progress they are on track for something that will benefit the area.

Not sure when they are due to be habitable, but hopefully soon.
