Shibden Hall Halifax

We had a lovely warm, soggy walk around Shibden Hall today! It was too warm for coats, very muddy underfoot, with snowdrops in full bloom and an abundance of very wet moss! The Hall dates back to 1420 and  is a beautiful listed building open to the public.
One of my  additional photo is from the dry stone walling display and is for PaulaJ who loves these sheepfolds! This one is apparently interesting as it is cut into the hillside so one wall is much taller than the other making for a flat base!!
