Aladdin

An early start this morning to get the lad off on his hike then into Birmingham for Panto with H. It was great fun with lots of laughs, although with JulIan Clary playing the Slave of the Ring as you can imagine lots of the jokes went over the children's heads. Lee Mead was excellent as Aladdin, Marti Pellow was Abanazar,  who'd have thought all those years ago he'd make such a great baddie? Matt Slack was brillant as Wishee Washee but I think his voice was going. Quite an expensive afternoon out, Julian Clary's numerous sparkly outfits obviously used a substantial part of the budget!
