Naughty little Tilly

Not the best composition to show what has happened here, but I'll try to explain.

At my morning job we have two of the foals born last summer, Tilly -https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2045982359597090791
and Phoenix ( aka Paddy ) -https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2052120807252952335

As the fields are so wet now, they get to have a run about in one of the schools when there are no lessons. Peter and I lead them out this morning, and Peter tied his lead rope round the gate and post to be sure they couldn't play with the catch and let themselves out. We discussed how we wouldn't want to be running around after them if they were to escape ...

I usually work in the stables that run along the edge of the school, so I can keep an eye on the little darlings. As I came out of a stable, I saw something out of the corner of my eye, something flying through the air.

" Oh no " were the words that passed through my mind.

" Oh yes " said my eyes as I turned to get a better look - Tilly had jumped the fence!! She was now standing on the bank next to the school, gazing around, whilst Paddy was gawping at her from the school, wondering how she could have possibly left him behind!

Luckily, Tilly was too scared to get off the bank, so we were able to catch her. It then took 3 of us to coax her down again.

Since then they've started to cause serious damage to the wooden jumps that are usually in there, so we've had to take them out and then the other day I heard a ripping sound and saw they were peeling the dressage letters off the fence. The 'B' has completely gone!
