Tree Dweller
We went for a late afternoon walk after we'd returned from Preston this lunchtime.
A couple of thousand seagulls had arrived on the lake at Trentham Gardens for their roost. Something we don't usually see as we're don't often do this walk so late in the day.
But it was this motionless heron up in the bare branches that caught my eye. It was really close to the path but I suspect many folks wouldn't have seen it.
Again, it was getting close to dusk, so tricky lighting.
