No-berry fruits

Newberry fruits were always part of Christmas when I was young - a lovely two-tier box of gorgeous fruit-shaped, juice-filled brightly coloured jellies always appeared to fill any tiny spaces remaining after Christmas Day tea.
These days I prefer something a bit simpler, and quite mysteriously there's still a layer of fruity goodness left.
