Farewell to the Pearl

The first time I participated in the Derelict Thursday challenge, I blipped a photo of the Eastern Pearl.

I passed by there again today to see if there was a new angle I could use for Derelict Sunday, and discovered...it's gone! The building itself has been demolished - whatever is being developed is hidden behind tall blue hoardings - and only the tatty old sign is still standing.
