Sandsend

Decided to give the orienteering a miss. The warnings about the wet conditions in the car park and Richard not competing made my mind up.

Instead we got up and headed once again for the coat. A good decision as the tide was out and the light was better than the misty moors.

Had a good walk with Jet on the beach and liked the tangle of flotsam and jetsam on this old groyne.

Home and a quick bike ride to test some new bike mitts which I hope will help my hands stat warm and dry. Then felt justified in watching some rugby.
