Terracotta

An abandoned house, an empty room, windows unwashed, terracotta pots on the woodwormed sill.
This might have a happy ending though - a planning site notice has gone up for restoration of dwelling house.
Well, we braved The Revenant last night. I thought it quite a remarkable film. The lives shown were brutal in the extreme, everyone fighting for existence; the story line was literally in-credible, how the hero managed to keep going against such astonishing odds  and why he wanted to; and yet the photography was sublime - huge sweeping vistas, small moments of casually caught beauty and occasional hints of surrealism; and the music was neck tingling. The scarf was in use quite a lot of the time though!
