Unwelcome Skateboarders

For some reason, a group of young people have started using Churchgate, a pedestrian thoroughfare in the middle of Loughborough, as a skateboard run.

I was all fingers and thumbs with the camera, so didn't get good shots. You should be able to see one passer-by looking back at this individual.

There is a park not far from the centre with skateboard ramps. Perhaps it's got a bad reputation, except that I saw one man in his twenties forge through walkers to reach the top of the street.

What point are they trying to make? No safe place to skateboard? I wouldn't have called this part of Loughborough ideal except spaces are a bit wider.
