Geranium

I have enrolled on an on line course to upskill my knowledge and today's lesson was DOF.
I hadn't written down the variation using my 18-125 lens at 100. The range is f5.6 to f32. I was surprised it was that large a range to be honest.

This is one end at f 5.6 focusing on the pink geranium in the middle. I tried with some other objects and have learnt not to do this when it is getting dark or windy. I didn't like the photo at the other end f32, things were in focus but there was no "Focus" to lead your eye. Interesting. I had to pick a topic for the year and am going to do leaves, there are plenty of them.
