Hen or Marsh Harrier

Quiet day in our house today. The boy has a cold and hubby wasn't feeling good either. I'm tired after a long week so other then a pop to local shops we have snuggled up at home. My cousins 18th tonight but little chap didn't want me to leave him so ninja warrior and the voice was our evening.

Spotted the harrier on the way to the shops and it was still there hiding on the dyke when I came back. shame I only had my phone to take pics as see them all the time over the farmland but rarely as close as I was today as he was just sat I. The dyke edge but my car noise as I approached made him / her fly off.
