Tracks

My parallell tracks and many other tracks too.  They seem to be a mixture of red deer and roe deer tracks.
I caught a glimpse of three red deer as they disappeared through the trees.
The snow isn’t very deep and it is soft all the way down to the ground so the deer can easily scrape it away and find grass.
Today there was warmth in the sun and there was quite a fall in the temperature as I left the sun and skied into the shadow.
Was thinking of the line "Footprints in the snow" from Kate Bush's Wildman on "50 Words for Snow".
