Mandarin

Aaaaah  - some free and me time at last. 
Mr T has gone away to the Gliding Club for a couple of days and after a small lie in I've had an industrious morning followed by a much needed blast of fresh air whilst on a lovely walk by the Canal. in Ellesmere this afternoon.  This little Mandarin Duck was huddled up on a branch beside the canal between a  Mr & Mrs Mallard.  I did approach very quietly but, yes, they copped me and the little Mandarin headed off - the Mallards just gave me the eye and continued with their snoozing! 

On the way back I walked through the Canal tunnel, a little scary in places where the tunnel doesn't accommodate tall people, but the view at the end is always worth it.  In Extras.
