Eternity Tree No 129, 2.0

Sometime in November, we blipped the brass plaque of the eternity tree number 129 and described the council's idea of preserving a number of trees for the future. Today, with snow and frost on all its branches, we thought it would be a good day to blip the tree itself. It's a great oak with a circumference of 546 centimetres that could possibly be 500 years old. I am in the picture for the purpose of proportions.

One of my favourite games is Fetch the glove: Winter edition. Mum throws one of her padded gloves and I run to fetch it, through the snow which makes the running itself much more fun. The second I put the glove down, mum throws the other glove, I run through the snow to get it, and...well, you get the picture. It's great fun. And Grandma had made a fresh batch of Alice meatballs when we stopped there for coffee.

I love my life.
