Up in the air
Travelling for most of today again, so there's still not much to photograph except airports and planes.
This is from the big plane as we are starting to make our descent into Johannesburg. Shots from the plane of the emerging African landscape unfortunately didn't turn out so well through the murky windows.
A couple of hours to while away between flights and we were on our way for the last leg of the journey to Cape Town. By far the most entertaining safety instructions I've heard were introduced with the 'Believe it or not, we're responsible for your health and safety' opener over the tannoy. Instructions to 'Stop screaming and put on your oxygen mask' and 'Tie your life jacket round your teensy weensy waist' ensured everyone's attention.
Two hours in the air and we were finally at our destination, met by second born beautiful one who had just finished his six month work placement that lunchtime.
Even cold, wet and rainy weather, just like home, didn't spoil dinner out at the Waterfront.
