Les Diablerets Clearing

After a dull start to the day, the mountains suddenly cleared this afternoon. Villars, our nearest ski resort, was packed with downhill skiers and even the cross country tracks were busy near the town but higher up I had the tracks to myself. This sport is still my favourite, you can just be yourself in nature and listen to that wonderful deafening silence just by staying still.

Off to the see the film "The Big Short" now, interesting title, apparently about the 2008/2009 global financial crisis.
