A welcome walk down Portobello Road to the 'real' Notting Hill, not the one to be seen in the eponymous film.

On the day that Charlotte Rampling added her rather naive and ill considered opinion to the 'No black nominations at the Oscars' conversation it struck me that oscar nominations are more about aggressive and expensive lobbying by film companies than ability.

Saying that I may consider aggressively lobbying Richard Curtis to include more black people in his films.
