Here we go.

Bag packed and all excited I flew out to Geneva. Once I had made the transfer to Chamonix and had met all the other people on the trip my anticipation got the better of me and I couldn't stop smiling.

The group seem very nice and we gelled very quickly, after the evening meal we met our mountain guide and he checked all our equipment.

A few beers later and some time spent on the decking looking at the mountains we all went to bed, very excited and somewhat restless, I just wanted to get going!!!
