Mix and Match

The Liverpool Central Library is based within the rather grand Victorian Picton Reading Room and Hornby Library. It recently had an extensive makeover, which is most evident as soon as you step inside. From the outside it still looks much the same although it is possible to get the odd glimpse of the new. (The keen sighted may notice that this is another building with anti-pigeon spikes).
