flooded

Storm Desmond brought flooding to much of Cumbria yesterday and overnight. This photo taken in Rothay Park gives an indication of how high the water came. Stock Beck is in the foreground with the bridge on the right that leads out of the park. To the left of the photo is the River Rothay with a damaged Miller bridge top left. 

I hadn't put my wellies on so didn't go beyond this point.
