Fish-Eye Village

Not the best time of day to blip the village out of our back window but it's been both a miserable early part of the day and a busy one.  Thankfully our new dentist continued to provide a pain free service this morning so I was happy and relieved to walk home to get some exercise.  En route I had a text from Chris which resulted in another lovely walk along Goit Stock and a catch up this afternoon.  Now I have everything crossed that Rob will have a safe journey to JFK and then across the pond in light of the awful weather heading for the eastern seaboard.

This made me chuckle on the way home from the dentist's.  My first thought was dodgy menu, big portions!
