West Voe

Under normal circumstances I don't think I would recommend that the ideal return from the sick bed is to get up at 03:30 and travel via Heathrow and Aberdeen to Shetland.  However, it had all been paid for and I rationalised it by claiming that some sea air would do me good.

Splendid to be back on Shetland (it's been too long a gap) - on arrival it was blowing a hoolie and torrential rain was battering against the seaward-side of the house.  

A short walk around West Voe fitted in during the brief period between the rain stopping and the darkness falling.  Am planning a gentle couple of days up here.
