Sheep of many colours

It has rained constantly today, and apart from an unusual glimpse of a bright pink sky coming from the East as the sun was setting in the West where the sky was a dull grey, I could find nothing out of doors to blip that wasn't dark and murky.
Looking through my albums I was cheered up by the sight of the brightly painted sheep I saw on the wall of a building in Dordrecht (Netherlands) in October.
Who is watching them ? And what are they looking at?
