Masai warrior

We went for a nature walk with this warrior who showed us how to use a spear. In our group, only Julian was able to throw the spear properly so that it stabbed in the ground! Among other things, we were shown the sandpaper bush, and a bush with soft leaves used as loo paper! We saw giraffe plops which were not much bigger than rabbit droppings!
In this photo the warrior is concentrating as he is about to flick a pebble, which is a traditional activity. The stone makes a whizzing noise which can frighten an animal.
