Permission to Land?

A dreich day and being the middle of winter not many opportunities for outdoor daylight photography,  so this is a closer view of the orchid I used on Monday.  

Handheld with the flash on the hot-shoe through a diffuser.  Comparing this with Monday's effort the difference the off camera flash and the time to sort out tripods, backgrounds and lighting makes is quite clear ....
