Cú Chulainn

While on the beach today I was reminded of the fabled Cú Chulainn and his renowned hurley which he used to propel a ball high into the air. In this case it was being used to send the ball off down the beach for the dog to retrieve. The beach was quite empty as it usually is this time of the year.
We sometime nearly convince ourselves it is our own beach because we have it to ourselves most of the year. We are, however, ready to share the shopping streets with the locals when it suits us. We like to have our cake and eat it.....just saying
