Stepping out into the blue

This picture is in a room I spend time in occasionally at a community centre. A peaceful blue and pink theme that has always looked to me like a path to follow, to see where it leads. Enticing and calming. But looked at more closely tonight when I chose it for my 'blue' photograph I saw it very differently. The jetty just ends... it doesn't take you anywhere much. Or might it?... I have a few ideas I will add tomorrow with my thoughts, but would love to hear where you think this bridge or jetty might lead you, or what it says to you.
