Strike a pose
I was the only person in the History Centre at the museum this morning but I didn't feel lonely.
Today I was working on the skeleton of a young prehistoric woman and a baby, probably mother and child. Obviously very sad but it's interesting trying to piece their story together.
This evening I started my drawing course which, as I feared, is entirely populated by women of a certain age, 80% of whom attended last term. However, they were a friendly bunch, the tutor is lovely, and I held my own. We had to choose a photograph from one of the library books (we were in the library) to draw. I was the only one to choose a chicken but it turned out okay and I learned a few things, so it was a good exercise to start with.
All in all, a really enjoyable day.
