Weeeeee!

Rarely, I didn't look at my calendar before getting to work, so was dismayed to see quite a lot in it , and also a totally forgotten roofer appointment at home at lunchtime. 

Anyway - I got home a couple of minutes early and took the opportunity to oil a rusty bike chain.  Didn't take the opportunity to oil the bike lock, which might have been worth it. 

Anyway: stiff lock, broken key, sweary words, rushed taxi to nursery, luckily relaxed walk/carry all the way home. trip back out to get the bike, wine. 

Update:  Ha!!!  success - only needed a hacksaw and persistence.
