Hygieia

Not sure why her snake isn't drinking from Hygeia's bowl in this statue, in fact it seems a bit lost. Artistic license I guess. I was killing some time this morning wandering along the Water of Leith and this is St Bernard's Well, looking grey on a very grey day. I'd been at the doc and was waiting around before seeing the nurse. Seemed apt to be looking at the Greek goddess of health!
